Static electricity is a fascinating phenomenon. It makes your hair stand up when you pull a polyester jumper over your head, it is the reason why you see sparks when you unfold some blankets and it can even cause you to feel a spark when you touch metal. **We are asking people leave their hair without any hair spray or gel for the electrostatic workshop**

Materials required for Static Electricity:

Balloons
A spoon
T-shirts/jumpers made of different kinds of fabric, e.g. polyester, cotton wool, fleece
Biro
Paper
Best to work in the kitchen as you’ll use a sink
